Preconstruction Planning

Personnel of Inglett & Stubbs can perform a wide range of pre-construction services. These same individuals would be involved in the management of the Construction Services Phase, which will guarantee continuity to our commitments. Our typical pre-construction service offerings are as follows:

Document Review

We have periodic meetings with the designers to "look over their shoulders" and monitor design progress and observe whether or not the design is within the budgeted scope.

Schedule Development

We prepare a detailed schedule of when design of various electrical systems is to be partially and fully designed and pricing developed for confirmation within budget.

Design Budget Estimating

We provide an ongoing design budget estimate as partial and full designs are available on a system-by-system basis.

Value Engineering

We provide value engineering ideas and cost projections at the beginning of the design phase. This value engineering process will continue throughout the design phase, till final construction documents are developed.

Equipment Review

We review equipment and material specifications to guarantee that non-proprietary specifications are developed so competitive material bids can be received.

Coordination of Delivery

We make delivery commitments part of the bidding process and monitor the production and shipment of this equipment to assure delivery to meet the construction schedule.

Cash Flow Analysis

We provide a month-by-month projected cash flow once construction schedules and material prices are established.

Vendor Solicitation & Pre-Qualification

We solicit quotations from all specified manufacturers to ensure competitive pricing is received for the Client.

Construction Staging & Site Management Planning

We assist the construction manager with on site staging and planning to provide the most efficient handling of materials and personnel. Critical in this process is the location selection of cranes, loading ramps, trailer drop offs, temporary power and temporary site utilities.

Warranty Response

Inglett & Stubbs encourages all owners to begin a program of preventive maintenance on all new installations and maintenance manuals are furnished along with individual instruction at the conclusion of each project. Our standard complete one-year warranty covering labor and material is given on all installations. A fleet of fifty (50) fully equipped service trucks supports maintenance and warranty programs.

Emergency Response

The service fleet consists of over fifty (50) service trucks serving the Southeast region. Service electricians keep their vehicles on a twenty-four (24) hour basis so they can respond immediately to an emergency. Our technicians are equipped with telephone/radios and pagers for rapid response. This fleet also allows the company economically and quickly to accomplish small jobs that do not require the establishment of on-site crews and material
